Baseet transforms Nobel Prize discoveries into STEAM educational resources to engage students and youth with the latest trends in STEAM fields.
October 2022– In partnership with the ASPD (Advancement of Science publishing and distribution), the publishing arm of KFAS (The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences), and following the announcement of the Nobel Prizes, Baseet transformed the scientific discoveries into STEAM educational resources to engage K12 students and younger generations with science and keep them updated with the latest trends to evoke their creativity and broaden their innovative spirit.
Baseet STEAM educational resources also enable educators, researchers, and university staff to communicate science using project-based learning activities in order to encourage students to create projects and find innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
Baseet resources have introduced a simplified and intelligible explanation for students and youth for concepts such as click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry; quantum entanglement, and entangled photons; and paleogenetics.
From 3 to 10 October 2022, the Nobel committee has announced the Nobel Prizes winners in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Peace, Literature, and Economic Sciences, crowning 14 scientists and scholars with the highly anticipated award.
Held annually, the Nobel Prizes are, according to Alfred Nobel’s will, awarded to “those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind.” Therefore, the scientific discoveries of these scientists are of great importance to our understanding of the world and life.
Baseet also transformed the scientific discoveries into STEAM resources to engage students and younger generations with science. Baseet resources have introduced a simplified and intelligible explanation for students and
youth for concepts such as click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry; quantum entanglement, and entangled photons; and paleogenetics.
In November 2022- Baseet Climate Science Shows in COP27 took thousands of participants in a new learning journey that mixes fun, magic and science through a variety of exciting experiments performed on stage by world-class STEAM Communicators to actively engage the public with climate action. Baseet Climate Science Shows were presented in 3 different languages; English, Arabic and Chinese to ensure that participants from 194 countries are well involved with climate action.
Baseet also produced “The story of power” short film to take participants through the human’s learning journey on earth over the ages, to discover how energy evolved from using fire, to discovering oil and fuel, to finally resorting to clean and solar energy to protect our planet. The short film was produced in English and translated into Arabic to engage more audiences at COP 27.
