Baseet fascinates thousands of Cambodian citizens with a magical Climate Science Show to raise awareness of forests’ importance.
March 2023 – In partnership with Wildlife Alliance, Baseet raises awareness of forest’s importance in the ecosystem with a magical Climate Science Show, through a variety of fun and exciting experiments.
Wildlife Alliance Baseet Wildlife Tour captures the attention of more than 20000 villagers, children, and citizens of Cambodia and engages them with STEM fields, climate education, and celebrates the return of tigers to the Cambodian forests, following India’s agreement with Cambodia to reintroduce tigers after years of its extinction.
Baseet Science Show not only emphasizes the importance of forests as lungs of the earth but also as the “tape of the earth”, as it demonstrates forests’ incredible role in the water cycle. Forests provide our world with 75% of the freshwater, making them the biggest supplier of freshwater on earth. The show also explains forests’ amazing ability to survive and withstand catastrophes such as fires.
Forests are also the natural habitat of thousands of species that help maintain the balance in our ecosystem. Baseet Climate Science Show celebrated the return of tigers to the Cambodian forests and stressed on the importance of protecting them and stopping snaring and bushmeat.
