Baseet communicates and cooperates with Governments, NGOs, organizations, corporates and initiatives to find solutions to Climate issues and share insights on how to engage larger scale of people with Climate Action.

Baseet provides Climate Action Training Programs for corporations, universities, and organizations’ staff on how to utilize their abilities and capabilities to fight against climate challenges, formulate effective sustainable development strategies, and reach zero-net emissions.

Baseet manages Climate Action awareness Campaigns to engage the public with Climate Action, and deliver a variety of activities to include larger scales of people with Climate Action, such as Climate Science Shows, workshops, competitions, and hackathons.

COP27:
Among more than 500 organizations applied, Basset has been selected to provide public engagement and outreach activities at COP27, including science shows, film screening, and many workshops. 40000 attendees participated throughout COP27, which was held from 6 to 18 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. 

In partnership with tht Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Academy of Scienctific Research and Technology Al Alfi Foundation, and UNFCCC, Baseet Climate Science Shows in COP27 took thousands of participants in a new learning journey that mixed fun, magic and science through a variety of exciting experiments performed on stage by world-class STEAM Communicators to actively engage the public with climate action. Baseet Climate Science Shows were presented in 3 different languages; English, Arabic and Chinese to ensure that participants from 194 countries are well involved with climate action.

Baseet also produced the “The story of power” film to engage participants with the history of power over the ages to discover how energy evolved from using fire, to discovering oil and fuel, to finally resorting to clean and solar energy to protect our planet. The short film emphasizes the importance of going-green and finding eco-friendly solutions besides sending a hopeful message to make our planet a better place to live in; a safe home for the generations to come.The short film was produced in English and translated into Arabic.

During the Wildlife Tour, Baseet unites the efforts of the Cambodian Government, Indian Government, Wildlife Alliance, Non-governmental organizations and Educational organizations to engage the public with the Climate Action, raise awareness of forests’ importance to our ecosystem and promote STEAM education. 

The Tour highlighted and celebrated the return of tigers to the Cambodian forests, following India government’s agreement with Cambodia to reintroduce tigers after years of its extinction, and inspiring the people to stop snaring and bushmeat.

Baseet roamed a number of Cambodian cities and forests including; O’Som, Koh Kong, Thma Bang and the capital Phnom Penh. More than 20000 citizens, villagers and children of Cambodia participated in Wildlife Alliance Baseet Tour.
